Hello there, I’m Tommaso 👋!

I am a PhD student in the NLP Unit at the DWS Group of the University of Mannheim. I am currently supervised by Prof. Dr. Simone Paolo Ponzetto and Prof. Dr. Goran Glavaš. My main interests are in cross- and multilingual representation learning 🌍🗣️

I did my Bachelor’s in Information Engineering at the University of Padua, where I also completed my Master’s in Computer Engineering. During my thesis on question answering, I became interested in NLP, as it’s a weird mix of things I love: math, language, and programming. I was lucky to be supervised by Giorgio Satta (UniPD) and Alessandro Moschitti (Amazon Alexa).

I am quite a board game fan, if you also are a board game geek tell me: I’m always up for a game or two 🎲!
